NCB Wins Big at HR Asia Awards 2026 with Three Prestigious Awards

On July 9, 2026, at the HRAA (HR Asia Awards) 2026 ceremony, National Citizen Commercial Joint Stock Bank (NCB) was honored with three awards: “Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2026,” “Tech Empowerment Awards 2026,” and “People Transformation Awards 2026.”

With the theme “People First, Always,” HR Asia Awards 2026 honors enterprises with outstanding achievements and development in building an ideal workplace for employees. Through this, HRAA 2026 aims to affirm that people always constitute the core element underpinning the sustainable development of enterprises amid the rise of AI and the strong wave of digital transformation.

Surpassing a series of rigorous criteria set by the expert panel and the results of direct employee surveys, with an outstanding score of 4.6/5, NCB was honored for the fourth consecutive year as one of the “Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2026.”

In addition, this year, NCB was presented with two special awards by HRAA: “Tech Empowerment Awards 2026” and “People Transformation Awards 2026.”

Among these, the “Tech Empowerment Awards” recognizes NCB’s pioneering efforts in applying digital technologies to improve the workplace, enhance employee experience, and increase operational efficiency. With the “People Transformation Awards,” NCB was honored for its methodical human resource development strategy, together with extensive investment in employee training and development and the provision of essential skills to help employees adapt and stay ahead of emerging challenges.

NCB achieved scores above the market average across all surveyed categories in the HRAA 2026 survey. Specifically, the Bank’s three core factors — organizational core values (Core), individual values and self-satisfaction (Self), and collective values, team spirit, and corporate culture (Group) — recorded scores of 4.5, 4.63–4.66, and 4.07, respectively, compared with the market averages among participating enterprises of 3.89–3.99–4.07, respectively.

According to the survey assessment of Asia’s Best Companies to Work for in Asia, NCB possesses a strong corporate culture built on the philosophy of putting people at the center, with a high level of connection between employees and a positive working environment. NCB was also assessed as having an effective communication environment, with employees able to express their views and perspectives, a willingness to delegate authority, and trust in employees; a workplace where teams are not afraid of differences and are supported in adopting a diverse approach, contributing and developing over the long term. These are also factors that help NCB maintain high employee engagement and strengthen its sustainable competitiveness in the labor market.

Speaking at the award ceremony, Mr. Ta Kieu Hung – Member of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of NCB, said, “Building a Kind – Talented workforce has always been one of the Bank’s top strategic objectives. NCB focuses on developing both system-wide organizational capabilities and human resource capabilities

HRAA is a prestigious international award presented annually by HR Asia magazine to organizations and brands that have implemented outstanding human resource policies, attractive remuneration schemes, and ideal working environments across the region.

The assessment and selection process is conducted under the Total Engagement Assessment Model (TEAM), using an in-depth survey methodology to accurately evaluate organizations according to the most rigorous international criteria.
