National Citizen Commercial Joint Stock Bank (NCB) was established in 1995 under License No. 00057/NH–CP dated September 18, 1995, issued by the State Bank of Vietnam, initially operating under the name Song Kien Rural Commercial Joint Stock Bank. Over more than 30 years of transformation and development, NCB has gradually expanded its operational scale, becoming an urban commercial bank under the name Nam Viet Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Navibank), before officially adopting the name National Citizen Commercial Joint Stock Bank (NCB) in 2014, which it has retained to this day.
