NCB Introduces a “One-Touch” Digital Banking Version Exclusively for Household Businesses and Micro Enterprises

National Citizen Commercial Joint Stock Bank (NCB) continues to expand the NCB iziMobiz application with a digital banking solution designed for household businesses and micro enterprises, enabling shop owners to handle daily transactions quickly and proactively through a single-user account, while managing finances in a more systematic, transparent, and efficient manner.

“One touch” for a streamlined business model

At 7:00 a.m., the coffee shop owned by Ms. Minh Anh (35, Hanoi) begins to bustle with customers coming and going. Between preparing drinks and serving customers, she takes a few moments to open her phone, pay for supplies, check payments just received, and confirm transactions with suppliers. As the shop owner and the person directly responsible for managing all receipts and expenditures, she handles every transaction herself.

“My shop is small, so I both serve customers and manage all the money coming in and going out. On busy days, I may only have a few minutes at lunchtime to transfer money to suppliers or check the account. I need an application that is easy to use and can handle these tasks quickly,” Ms. Minh Anh shared.

This is also a common need among many household businesses and micro enterprises today. Unlike enterprises with dedicated accounting and finance teams, most household business owners directly handle sales, cash flow management, supplier payments, and revenue reconciliation themselves. At the same time, many household businesses have proactively separated receipts and expenditures related to business activities to facilitate cash flow monitoring, reconciliation, and tax procedures.

NCB develops a specialized version for household businesses and micro enterprises on the NCB iziMobiz digital banking application

In response to these practical needs, NCB has developed a specialized version for household businesses and micro enterprises on the NCB iziMobiz digital banking application. When logging in with a household business or micro-enterprise account, customers will be directed to the NCB iziMobiz application specifically designed for this segment, with an interface and transaction process tailored to a single-user model.

Accordingly, customers can initiate and confirm a transaction in just one step, instead of having to create a transaction order and route it through multiple approval levels as in a multi-user model. With the streamlined process, daily transactions can be completed quickly and seamlessly, enabling shop owners to proactively manage their finances anytime, anywhere.

The application interface is also designed to be intuitive and easy to use, focusing on functions frequently used by household businesses such as fund transfers, QR payments, account monitoring, and balance movement tracking, which are clearly and systematically displayed on the home screen. This helps users quickly become familiar with the application, reduce the number of steps required, and save time in handling daily tasks.

Expanding the digital ecosystem, accompanying household businesses

Alongside optimizing the experience on the digital banking application, NCB has also simplified the account registration and opening process. Customers can open an account directly at an NCB transaction point or register their information on NCB’s website (https://www.ncb-bank.vn/dangkytaikhoanonlinekhdn/) to receive consultation and guidance. After registration, customers are immediately provided with a customer identification number (CIF) and a temporary payment account number to complete purchase and sale contracts or provide account information to partners. Customers then only need to complete the required documents as instructed and complete identification at any NCB transaction point in accordance with regulations to activate the account and use the services. This helps shorten processing time while providing a more convenient experience from the very first step of accessing the service.

NCB provides superior solutions, accompanying businesses of all sizes

In addition to the digital banking application, NCB is gradually completing its ecosystem of digital solutions for household businesses and micro enterprises. iziBox, a voice-based balance change notification solution, helps shop owners confirm transactions as soon as customers make payments, reducing errors or missed transactions during peak hours and enhancing the sales experience, and has become widely popular among shop owners. VietQR and VietQR Global solutions not only enable household businesses to conveniently accept cashless payments, but also provide greater opportunities to serve international tourists, particularly in areas with strong growth in trade, services, and tourism. NCB is also working to establish connectivity with the Tax Department, with the aim of soon enabling household businesses to link their accounts and pay taxes directly via eTax Mobile through simple, fast, and accurate procedures.

NCB stated that it will continue developing additional specialized features for household businesses and micro enterprises on its digital platform in the coming period. The new utilities will focus on providing deeper support for management, payment, and operational activities, with the goal of building a digital financial ecosystem that accompanies household businesses and micro enterprises through every stage of development, from start-up and business expansion to enhanced management capabilities.

With significant progress and superior solutions that effectively support the business community, NCB was recently honored by Global Banking & Finance Review as “Fastest Growing Corporate Bank Vietnam 2026.”
