NCB Reveals the Reason Behind Its Collaboration with MV “Viet Nam – Tu hao tiep buoc tuong lai” (roughly translated as “Vietnam – Proudly Stepping into the Future”)

Launched during the nation’s historic days, the music video “Viet Nam – Tu hao tiep buoc tuong lai” (roughly translated as “Vietnam – Proudly Stepping into the Future”) brings together National Citizen Commercial Joint Stock Bank (NCB), composer Nguyen Van Chung, and Divo Tung Duong, intending to spread a powerful message of national pride, faith in Vietnam’s prosperity, and the spirit of self-reliance in the new era. 

Just 12 days after its release, the song surpassed 3 million views, claiming the No.1 spot on YouTube Music Vietnam Daily Chart, Zing Chart real-time, and Zing MP3 Chart. It has also reached over 30 million streams and background uses, creating a “storm” across social media — resonating not only in major events but also in simple, everyday moments.

The MV “Viet Nam – Tu hao tiep buoc tuong lai”

was officially released on August 14 and quickly reached more than 3 million views within just a few days.

Although this was the first collaboration between the million-view hitmaker Nguyen Van Chung and powerhouse vocalist Tung Duong, their synergy has become a guarantee of quality. With its catchy melody, heroic lyrics, and visuals that are both familiar and majestic, the MV — launched to celebrate the 80th anniversaries of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2) — has stirred deep patriotism and national pride among the public.

Director Vu Hong Thang — known for his collaborations with top artists — skillfully selected symbolic imagery: bustling ports symbolizing economic integration; Ba Dinh Square bathed in sunlight, recalling the sacred moment 80 years ago when President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence; and iconic structures such as the Golden Bridge and the Kiss Bridge, which affirm Vietnam’s position on the global tourism map.
